Pharmacist, developed white coat syndrome and went into industry (marketing, sales, operations), still wants to help, fascinated with the science of communication and how the nature of an interaction affects the outcome (has been known to carry out ad hoc experiments for hypothesis testing at its least scientific), loves getting results (fastest time to complete broadsheet cryptic crossword – 11 minutes 13 seconds) but loves getting better results even more.

Drod learned his craft at some of the world’s biggest creative agencies when advertising was king and the application of marketing theory was just starting to reach its full potential. He then ran a successful creative agency for over a decade. Versatile and quick with solutions, Drod has produced marketing campaigns for a range of industries, including transport (Qatar Airways, DAF, ESSO, Peugeot) and healthcare (Fresenius Kabi, Reckitt Benckiser, AstraZeneca, Scholl), and that’s all before breakfast (Kellogg’s, Warburtons). Fortunately, Drod’s brain is always switched to ‘on.’ An enthusiasm for cycling, philosophy and the natural world, provides fresh air and exercise along with his favourite activity…thinking up ideas.

Jeanette has created visual communication at its finest for famous brands for sporty feet to famous brands for decidedly unhealthy feet. As someone who eats, sleeps and breathes design, when Jeanette’s not designing, she’s teaching design to postgraduate level, or seeing how other people design, or championing ‘making lives better by design’ as an advocate for The Design Council. It’s now the turn of science to benefit from her passion.
